GOALS

football, you won’t go far, unless you know where the goalposts are.”

What I think this quote means is that you succeed more in life if you set up goals for yourself. This is because when you set up goals you pressure yourself to pass you goal. An example of this lets say is that your goal is going to get a GPA of 3.6, you are going to give it your all to reach that goal and maybe even over pass it. If you don't put yourself a goal you will be ok with only C's and B's and won't give it your all in school.
